All the providers in Carbon Health’s primary care program are highly trained in the best and most up to date evidenced based practices and provide culturally competent care.

Currently, we provide hormone management by referral, but plan to offer these services for our patients soon.

We recognize that binary standards of gender aren't sufficient for each of our patients. While we require your legal name and gender for insurance purposes, we offer tools within our app and website to share your gender identity, preferred pronouns, and preferred name. Our providers will use your preferred name during and between your visits. Additionally, our clinics are always equipped with gender-neutral bathrooms. Carbon Health continuously strives to improve accessibility and inclusivity, so our patients should feel free to provide open, honest feedback to our providers and staff.

All of our primary care providers are qualified to prescribe these medications. It should be noted, however, that these medications do not protect against all STIs and doesn’t eliminate the need for safe sex practices. Taking these factors into account, along with your personal history and current health status, your provider will work to create a treatment plan for you.

No. At this time, fertility care is not a part of the Carbon’s Women’s Health program. We can test your hormone levels, preconception planning, and rule out other chronic conditions that can prevent pregnancy. In addition, we can refer you to a specialist to further assist.

All the providers in the Women’s Health program are highly trained in the best and most up to date evidenced based practices.

We can work in conjunction with your OB/GYN to help with your chronic conditions or we can assist with your routine gynecological screenings/care (pap, OCP management). If treatment is out of our scope of practice, we can refer you back to your OB/GYN or appropriate specialist to continue your care with them.

Carbon Health's Women's Health Program is a Primary Care program that expands our scope of gynecological services. Primary care providers at Carbon Health guide patients on evidence-based care plans designed specifically for women that include breast health, reproductive health, infectious issues, and behavioral health.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a dedicated pediatric practice. However, we can see children older than 3 months at our urgent care clinics. We also have a pediatric specialty through our virtual care services.

Carbon Health offers urgent care, primary care, and virtual care, including virtual mental health services.
